FINALLY! I have seen a Grizzly!

In the 3ish years I've been in the mountains I've never seen a bear. For the most part I consider myself lucky. I don't want to see a bear while I'm out hiking with Bailey. However I would like to get a few shots. Here are a few of the residents we share this valley with that I have been lucky enough to see.

I know I've said this before...about a wolf/coyote but this was the most terrifying moment of my life. While taking pictures of the moose below he suddenly looked up, with an angry look on his face and would not look away. I didn't know what to do, do I look away? Do I back away slowly facing him? Do I just run? These are things that are going through my head...then he starts walking towards me. I decided to stay still (I was sitting) and wait. Thank goodness he was just scoping out his next snack and stopped about 20 feet away. There was no way I was out running him.
